Grenada is producing high quality cacao beans and is the second largest producer of nutmeg in the world. Fruits and vegetables
are also exported. Another important source for foreign exchange is tourism.
It is possible to visit both cacao and nutmeg manufacturers, the Chocolate Factory and several rum distilleries. In addition Grenada and the
smaller islands Carriacou and Petit Martinique can offer some marvelous beaches, nice resorts, beautiful forests and colorful
plants. Grenada is regarded as one of the most beautiful and most unspoiled islands in the Caribbean.

Hurricane Ivan
Grenada was devastated by hurricane Ivan in September 2004. Visit the Grenada Pictures Link Page
